Iranian Australian Organisations Stand with Australia After Bondi Beach Terror Attack

The Australian Supporters of Democracy in Iran, Iranian Women Association- Australia, and the Association to Defend Freedom & Human Rights in Iran–Australia, in these deeply painful and unforgettable days, stand firmly alongside the Australian people and extend their heartfelt solidarity to the families of the victims of the ruthless and inhumane terrorist attack at Bondi Beach in Sydney on Sunday, 14 December 2025.

We solemnly honour the memory of those who lost their lives and express our deepest condolences to all those who have been affected by this tragic act of violence. http://Ahmed al Ahmed identified as hero bystander in Bondi Beach shooting tackling gunman in incredible footage

We also wish to express our strong solidarity with the Australian Jewish community, which was the primary target of this terrorist attack. We unequivocally condemn all forms of terrorism, hatred, and antisemitism, and reaffirm our commitment to standing together against violence that seeks to divide communities and spread fear.

The Australian Supporters of Democracy in Iran, Iranian Women Association- Australia, and the Association to Defend Freedom & Human Rights in Iran–Australia,

Terrorism in today’s world is ruthless and unrestrained, recognising no borders, no cultures, and no faiths. The people of Iran, both inside the country and within the Iranian diaspora, have long been among the first and most persistent victims of extremist violence and state-sponsored terror. This painful experience has deeply shaped our understanding of the devastating human cost of terrorism and the urgent need for collective action to confront it. https://www.iranliberty.org.au/join-us-to-commemorate-the-international-day-against-the-death-penalty/

In these sorrowful times, preserving hope, strengthening unity, and fostering empathy across communities are essential. Only through solidarity, mutual respect, and shared humanity can we confront these global threats, resist hatred and extremism, and move together toward a future grounded in peace, security, justice, and coexistence.

We remain committed to standing with all those who seek peace and dignity, and to working alongside the broader Australian society to uphold the values of compassion, freedom, and respect for human life.
